Job Description:

Full Life Cycle Bookkeeping / Accounting functions providing financial information including research and analysis of accounting data to prepare meaningful, accurate, timely financial reports, as well as interpreting financial statements utilizing Quickbooks and other applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform G/L account analysis and assessment of accounting data for financial reporting.
  • Review current processes and procedures. Research as necessary to provide answers to accounting policy and regulations.
  • Recommend financial actions & scope of work to increase efficiency and provide accurate, timely monthly & annual financial reporting.
  • Capture and organize financial information of accounting data and financial institutions.
  • Accounts Receivable; customer invoices, recording payments for deposits and collections.
  • Inventory recording & management
  • Fixed asset, Current Assets, Other Assets recording & management
  • Accounts Payable & Cash disbursements; record vendor bills, process checks/bill payments
  • Other Current Liabilities, Other Liabilities, recording & management
  • Credit Cards: Record credit card charges
  • Month End / Year End Close: Reconcile bank account(s), Record monthly journal entries as necessary, Create supporting schedules, analysis of financial statements.
  • Create annual budget for approval and recording in accounting system.
  • Run financial reports and prepare for management
  • Recommend policies and process to maintain accounting controls.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and documentation.
  • Recommend policies and process for security of financial information & back up system.

 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Three to Five years of work experience full cycle accounting. You will not be considered if you do not have a minimum of this level of experience.
  • Computer Skills: Advance Quickbooks desktop and/or online preferred, Excel, Word, and third party applications
  • Ability to analyze financial data and account balances to confirm correctness, identify and correct errors
  • Strong oral and written communications skills internal and external
  • Excellent problem solving, time management and attention to details
  • Analytical & strategic to trouble shoot and problem solve

 

 

 

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: 45-55K DOE
